...and locally, Jeff Hanson passed away on June 5, 2009. I don't think I ever played his music without having to convince everyone that, yes, that's a dude. No really, I swear to god - a dude. And I don't think I ever played him without everyone really diggin' on it. This song sounds a bit more Elliot Smith-y than some of his stuff but a sweet song none-the-less.
